School Of Ministry
The CLI School of Ministry exists to equip God’s people to become ministers after God’s heart, to do His worK, and to build up the church, the body of Christ.
WHAT IS THE GOAL/PURPOSE OF THE SCHOOL OF MINISTRY?
For individuals within CLI to receive training and formal ministerial credentials. Individuals have 2 credentialing options:
1) A Ministry Certificate acknowledging the individual’s hard work and accomplishment.
2) A Ministry Credential (License/Ordination) that provides an opportunity for formal ministry.
-
Three main courses follow CLI's Disciple University semester schedule. The courses offered depend on the credentialing option that an individual chooses. See the School Of Ministry page on the church website for more information, or take a brochure.
In addition to these 3 large 10-week courses, 2- week Hermeneutical courses will be taught that teach the basis of how to read and interpret the Word of God.

HERMENEUTICS
STARTING MAY 18
Biblical Hermeneutics is the study of the principles and methods of interpreting the text of the Bible.
The class seeks to equip the student with a collection of interpretive tools to help derive the original, intended meaning of Scripture and come to an accurate understanding of the Bible in light of its whole.
We also think of Hermeneutics as a set of lenses through which we can view the Word of God to accurately “give the sense” (Nehemiah 8:8) of the Scripture’s true, Holy Spirit-inspired meaning.
Join us for an introductory survey of Hermeneutics (15-week class) as we learn to dig deeper into the unsearchable riches of the Word of God together!
SCHOOL OF MINISTRY NOTE: Faithful attendance is highly encouraged! Absences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
