Embark on a journey of faith

...that explores the Existence of God, Matters of Faith and Reason, Origins, the Reliability of the Bible, the Bodily Resurrection of Jesus, Miracles, the Problem of Evil, Cults and World Religions.  

Through Apologetics, we learn to “give an answer” for why we believe what we believe with “meekness and fear, gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).  We learn to offer a biblically sound, reasoned defense coupled with a heart of humility. By acknowledging and moving away from defensiveness, we learn to cultivate a spirit of openness and respect that invites hearts to Jesus, regardless of opposing positions.  

This 10-week Class is taught by Pastor Kevin.

Recently, we announced that Pastor Sharon Hartman is stepping away from her role as Care Pastor due to a cancer diagnosis. Please join us in prayers of faith for our sister! Our God is GOOD!

In this note, Pastor Sharon extends her thanks to our church family...

I want to thank everyone for the calls, cards, and visits. Now that I've started chemo, I still want to come to church, but I have to be very careful with my immune system. I want to hug you all, but please don't be offended if I have to stay back to protect myself from other illnesses and complications. 
I love you all.

With this in mind, we also want to seize the opportunity to bless and honor Pastor Sharon for her many years of dedicated service to the Lord, especially to this church family. 

We invite you to write her a note or card to share how her ministry has touched your life! We will collect those notes and cards at either Info Desk for the new few weeks. We've also created a fund to bless her.

Have a favorite game? Bring it along and introduce it to the group! 

We'll provide iced water and pink lemonade to keep everyone refreshed. Feel free to bring a snack or treat to share as we enjoy an evening of fun, conversation and connection.

Encounter is a very special weekend intended to do what the name states, to bring you into an Encounter with our Amazing God. It is designed for anyone ready for a spiritual journey with Jesus. It introduces people to the Love of God & helps them continue their discipleship journey even after the event has ended. 

Your past doesn't matter. Your current circumstance doesn't matter. You will be:
 - loved, supported, & challenged
 - given space & grace to deal alone with the Lord
 - prayed for & with

 1. Suggested donation of $35
 2. Materials and meals are included.
 3. Bring your Bible.
 4. Childcare is not provided.
 5. This is not an overnight retreat. No lodging is necessary or available. 

The Schedule: 

• Friday evening, 5 PM - Dinner & Evening Sessions

• Saturday, 8:30 am - All Day Sessions (Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner provided)

• Sunday, 9 am - All Participants and leaders gather in the Youth Room, followed by joining in Celebration during our Sunday Morning Worship (10 am)
